Tried turning a pile of mud into sculptures for 6 days. Here’s the evidence, folks.

Role

Potter

Over a 12-day hands-on clay workshop, I explored the material from raw brown clay to experimental forms, focusing on recycling, tool-free hand-building, and wheel techniques to understand its movement, texture, and ability to retain form. I later experimented with white clay to create additional pieces. Across the workshop, I developed about 15 unique forms, none of which I fired, allowing me to focus on exploration, experimentation, and process rather than the final objects.

I documented the entire process on video with my personal camera, from the first lump of raw clay to the final pieces. It was an extra step I chose to take, not something that was required, but I felt those 12 days were worth capturing. Looking back, the footage feels like a quick walkthrough of the whole experience: the mess, the learning curve, the small wins, and how the work gradually came together day by day.
